2010 Joanne Duncan Cup

The 3rd annual Joanne Duncan Cup will be played this Sunday when Sunbury hosts Melton at Boardman Oval.

This year the Sunbury Lions JFC is honoured not only to have Joanne Duncan MLA (State Member for Macedon) presenting the cup to the winning side, but also in attendance will be the Federal Member for Calwell, Maria Vamvakinou MP. AFL Victoria and the Sunbury JFC is proud to have two local female parliamentary members supporting Youth Girls football.

To celebrate the event and support the new batch of Sunbury Girls coming through, Sunbury JFC has also invited back former Youth Girls premiership champions Brooke Surgeon, Candace Smith, Rhiannon Carra, Alex Agrotis and Sera Catania.

AFL Victoria congratulates both Sunbury and Melton on this fantastic initiative and for continuing to work together to raise the profile of Youth Girls football in their regions.
