Melbourne has hung on for a memorable victory in the fourth instalment of the AFL Women’s Exhibition game today against Western Bulldogs as Etihad Stadium.

Leading by 31 points, 12 minutes into the second quarter, the Demons were forced to watch on as the Western Bulldogs staged a Katie Brennan led comeback, kicking five of the next six goals - four to Brennan - to just fall short by four points. Melbourne 6.4 40 defeating Western Bulldogs 5.6 36.
Melbourne captain Daisy Pearce dominated in the middle with 30 disposals, and was a clear choice for the best on ground medal. Her Darebin Falcon teammate Brennan would not have been far behind with four of the Bulldogs five goals from her 12 disposals.
