A New Harbour Rises
CEO John Hunt says the timing of the rebrand is perfect.

Check out our new logo, probably like nothing you’ve seen before in the basketball world! It’s based on a trident that represents strength, power and our connection to the ocean. The central spike reaches high, reflecting our northern region and the commitment to strive for greatness.
Rangitoto is a constant in our region and the central chevron represents Rangitoto rising up out of our harbour.
We have an amazing range of new merchandise which is available on line but also at a pop-up store outside Eventfinda Stadium this Saturday 5th March. Former NBA player, Harbour rep, Breaker and Tall Blacks legends Kirk Penney and BBNZ CEO Dillon Boucher will also be there from 12.30-1.30pm, so come down and get your gear!
Penney says Harbour basketball has been a huge part of his life.
“Harbour Basketball was a massive part of my development as a teenager in New Zealand. When I made the U14 Harbour team as a 12 year old it was truly special, a big milestone for myself and all my teammates at the time. Harbours bold new brand is sure to build pride for players today and for future generations.”
A new playing kit, featuring the iconic Rangitoto will be rolled out over the next year for our Harbour teams.
