Latest news on our Harbour Tall Ferns & Breeze players

Micaela Cocks scored 16 points (6/10FG) as Townsville Flames defeated South West Metro 80-51.

Penina Davidson also scored 16 points but unfortunately she was on the losing side as Nunawading Spectres were clawed by the Geelong Supercats 83-78.

The other games involving former Harbour players were cancelled due to Covid restrictions in various areas of Australia.

Nearer home five Harbour athletes were invited to the latest Tall Ferns camp held on the North Shore last weekend.

Olivia Bell, Tayla Dalton, Ella Fotu, Ash Kelman-Poto and Hannah Wentworth were amongst the 18 players in attendance.

Good wishes to Tayla (St Mary’s College, California) and Hannah (Eckerd College) who will be returning to the States in the next few days to continue their college careers.

Olivia, Ella and Ash are preparing for the opening round of the Sal’s NBL commencing next Thursday August 12.

The first fixture for the Platinum Homes Harbour Breeze is 8pm on Friday August 13 when Alloyfold Canterbury Wildcats will be the opponents. All games are being played at Pulman Arena, Takanini and are broadcast live on Sky Sport.
