Congratulations Rangitoto College!!!!!
Last week saw Harbour Basketball host the 2015 Zone 1 AA Secondary school qualifying Tournament. It was a week full of fun and exciting basketball.
18 boys teams and 12 Girls teams fought it out over the 4 days in the hope of qualifying in the top 6 for a place at the the Secondary school Nationals to be held in Palmerston North from 28th September -3rd October.
7 A grade teams also had an exciting tournament.
The final was a exciting game for both the boys and girls teams with Rangitoto College take on Weslake in both finals.
Some exciting basketball and some amazing skills from both team saw Rangitoto take the girls final 72-76 and the Rangitoto boys beat Westlake 80-91.
In the A grade Westlake B boys beat Birkenhead to take that title.
