Getting Started
The Level One coaching course will :
V Develop your skills as a coach
V Encourage and increase your practical experience as a coach
V Develop critical self-analysis by encouraging open communication and feedback between Coaches
V Encourage the development of Coaches from specific groups that are under represented as Coaches such as Women, Maori and Pacific Islanders
V Help Coaches make Basketball a fun and safe environment for all involved, stressing the positive aspects of competition, individual development and teamwork and acknowledge the important role Coaches can play in the social development of young people
