The Pacific Games Council held its annual general assembly for 2019 on Sunday 14 July in Apia's Sheraton Aggie Grey's Hotel. This was the official rest day of the 16th Pacific Games in Samoa.
The Council received progress reports from its three organising committees: Samoa 2019, Northern Mariana Islands 2021 and Solomon Islands 2023, as well as awarding the 2025 Pacific Mini Games to Palau.
The meeting also created history by formally admitting Australia and New Zealand as associate members of the Council and by awarding one of the Pacific Games founders', New Caledonia's Roger Kaddour, with life membership - the first person to receive this prestigious honour.
Presentations are attached.
