AFTER nine rounds of football, Werribee Districts coach Paul Chapman has decided to pull on the boots and play.
Earlier this year, Chapman said he was 100 per cent focussed on coaching and didn't look likely to play for the yellow and black.
However, the former AFL champion, who retired from the Essendon Football Club in 2015, has changed his mind and will line-up against Altona tomorrow.
The club announced the former three-time Geelong premiership star would take to the field on Saturday, through their Facebook page.
President Murray Smith presented Chapman with his Werribee Districts jumper last night.
The Tigers are currently fifth on the ladder, with four wins and four losses. They take on the Vikings at Soldiers Reserve on Saturday.
The game will kick-off at 2pm.
