My Dad and my brother – they always kicked the footy with me as a kid.

Kirk Norton, my first senior coach. He gave me an opportunity as an underage to play with the big boys.

Tim Jenkins. He always gives his all and is very consistent and damaging. Plus he is another small bloke.

How hard you want to work will depend on the success you have.

Anthony Koutoufides. I idolised the way he played when I was growing up.

Wayde Skipper. He has a massive impact all around the ground and can go forward and kick goals.

By failing to prepare you are preparing to fail.

I think the WRFL will shape up well. I think we will have a good mixture of fast, strong and skilful players.

My Dad, unconditional love and support, always giving advice. As well as being my second harshest critic behind myself.

Being new to the league I don’t know too many of the guys, but Milesy from Hoppers Crossing, impressed me on the track.

In one way out the other and use your smarts, work smarter not harder.
How do you think the WRFL will shape up against Ballarat?
Ballarat is a highly rated league, would love to go to Whitten Oval and give them a touch up in what would no doubt be a highly pressured game.

First senior coach Steven Smithwick. Just looking back and remembering what they did for me as a kid, I would hope I do for my young team-mates now.

Tim Jenkins. The way he carries himself on field you know he gets the best out of himself.

You never know when will be your last game.

My dad gave me some good advice he said, the harder you run the luckier you get.

We will do very well. We have better inside players, but they have some good players on the outside. We will see how we go.

It means a fair bit. It shows that I am going alright this year. It is good to represent the league with some of my team-mates. I hope it all goes well.

My coach now, he has given me some good opportunities and he has always been really positive towards me.

Tim Jenkins – watched him as young player. He is someone who has always been spoken about in high regards. I just like the way he goes about it.

Don’t let anything get you down, always strive for something better.

I think no one rates us, but I think we have good depth it should be a good game.
