THE Countdown to the start of the WRFL season has officially begun. The second club we are profiling is, Glen Orden.

Last season: Division 2 Seniors – 6th. Division 2 Reserves – 7th.
Leading goal-kicker: Seniors - Benjamin Toner – 31 goals. Reserves – Shayne Comensoli – 14 goals.
Best and Fairest: Mark Pozzuto
Glen Orden have been quiet on the recruiting front during the pre-season. Some of their standout inclusions for 2016 include Jake Trewin from Tarneit. Trewin had a stint with the Hawks in 2013.
Jesse Bruce from Sanctuary Lakes and Dane Thomas from Manor Lakes will be joining the club this year.
Glen Orden forward John Zangari will be seen in a different jumper this season, with Division 2 star making the switch to the Wyndham Suns. After eight years with the Hawks, Zangari is headed to the Suns. He has booted 186 goals in his eight years with Glen Orden. His biggest haul was 51 goals in 2014.
Matthew Holmes is also off to Werribee Districts, Bekir Nazifovski will play for Laverton this season and Dylan Ralph has transferred to AFL Queensland to play with Pine Rivers.
