During 2015, AFL Victoria has managed the development of the Western Metropolitan Region Football Facilities Strategy in collaboration with the five Councils in Melbourne’s west, and the leagues operating in the region, including the Western Region Football League.
The strategy has been developed to help inform and guide the provision of football facilities across Melbourne’s western region.
With Melbourne’s western suburbs one of the fastest growing regions in the nation, the strategy addresses current and future infrastructure demand to support the growth of football, as well as establishing clear objectives to guide future investment into community football facilities.
The Western Metropolitan Region Football Facilities Strategy is now at a draft stage and requires feedback from clubs and the broader community before it is finalised.

Feedback must be provided via the official FEEDBACK TEMPLATE and submitted to AFL Victoria via email to ricky.bell@aflvic.com.au
