FORMER Fremantle and Collingwood star Brodie Holland has been appointed coach of the Caroline Springs Football Club.
Holland, who coached Maribyrnong Park to two premierships in the Essendon District Football League, was announced as the Lakers’ new senior coach tonight.
“We are thrilled to announce that Brodie Holland has been appointed senior coach of the Caroline Springs Football Club,” the Lakers’ Facebook post stated.
“Brodie comes with a wealth of football experience from AFL as a player, and locally as a playing coach.
“It is a very exciting time for our club and Brodie is the perfect fit to take our young list to the next level.”
Holland also coached the EDFL’s Interleague team during this year’s AFL Victoria’s Community Championships.
Caroline Springs also announced former premiership player Blake Richards will coach the Reserves side.
