AARON Bradley is set to become Manor Lakes’ longest serving coach after the club decided to extend is coaching tenure for another season.
Bradley joined the Storm in 2016 and has continued to hold the top job.
The Storm finished the season in sixth place last season and currently the team from Howqua Reserve is in third spot on the Division 2 ladder and looks destined to play finals footy for the first time in four years.
“After the mid-season football review, there was no hesitation in Aaron and the club agreeing to continue past this season and keep ticking off the yearly goals that were put in place by Rob May and Keith Priest in 2015, that would ensure the clubs longevity and competitiveness in years to come,” Manor Lakes president Shane White said.
Bradley will again be joined by Taz Petterwood and Rob May, with more coaching assistants set to be announced shortly.
Max de Groot will coach the Storm’s Reserves for a third consecutive season. He will be aided by Ash Fletcher.
Nathan Smithwick will also continue as coach of the club’s Senior Women’s team.
“All these guy’s still have tasks at hand this year, and hopefully finals ahead of them, but it’s great to know that the club, coaches and players are on the same page moving ahead,” White said.
On Saturday, Manor Lakes will take on the Yarraville Seddon Eagles at Howqua Reserve. Reserves begin at 12pm and the Seniors start at 2.15pm.
