Coach’s comment:
“We have only had the one win this season, but we have had some massive change,” coach Sam Young said.
“Our main focus this year wasn’t on the wins, but changing the culture of the club. We want to get good people into the club and it has changed dramatically.
“In the back end of the year it would be good to get one or two more wins, but our aim is to keep the same people and to continue to build into 2018.”
Last year:
W: 7 L: 2
Ladder Position: 2nd
Percentage: 183.85%
This year:
W: 9 L: 0

Coach’s comment:
“I’m really happy with where we are at, at the moment,” coach Nick Condos said.
“The aim for the second half of the year is to win as many games as possible which will put us in a good position come finals.
“We really want to make it to the grand final and then from there it is a two horse race.
“This week we play the Wyndham Suns, an opposition we rate highly.”
Last year:
W: 3 L: 5
Ladder Position: 6th
Percentage: 79.30%
This year:
W: 7 L: 1 D: 1
Ladder Position: 2nd
Percentage: 204.24%
Coach’s comment:
“We have certainly improved since the first game we have played,” coach Michael Boothey said.
“We have really taken on each challenge each week.
“We have been looking more attacking, but on the flip side we do like to focus our attention on our defence.
“I’m 100 per cent looking forward to playing Parkside. They will be a challenge. After the game we will see where we are at.”
Last year:
W: 6 L: 3
Ladder Position: 4th
Percentage: 103.80%
This year:
W: 1 L: 7
Ladder Position: 7th
Percentage: 53.59%
Coach’s comment:
“We are going pretty good, we are at a different stage compared to a lot of clubs,” coach Darren Findlay said
“We are a developing team. It would have been good to win a few more games to this point, but we are heading in the right direction.
“In the second half of the year we want to continue to develop and hopefully get a few more wins. We want to be ready for next year.”
Last year:
W: 5 L: 4
Ladder Position: 5th
Percentage: 103.82%
This year:
W: 4 L: 5
Ladder Position: 5th
Percentage: 105.60%
Coach’s comment:
“We are on par at the moment,” co-coach Robbie Greto said.
“We have had a few decent performances against the higher placed teams but in saying that we probably need to pinch a few more games to get in the top four.
“At the start of the year I said we needed to change our culture and training ethics first and foremost and I think we have done that.
“Matt Scalzo has done a tremendous effort as co-coach he has been big contributor to the club.”
Last year:
W: 2 L: 7
Ladder Position: 8th
Percentage: 51.46%
This year:
W: 2 L: 6 D: 1
Ladder Position: 6th
Percentage: 67.54%
Coach’s comment:
“We have had a very disappointing year so far,” coach Heath Hunter said.
“We started off really well and then we have lost the past, which has been really disappointing. We haven’t really recovered since we had that loss to Sunshine Heights.
“In the second half of the year we really want to be competitive and put in four quarter performances. We have been in most of our games, we just haven’t had a four quarter performance yet.
“Our discipline is also lacking, hopefully we can change it around in the second half of the year.”
Last year:
W: 2 L: 7
Ladder Position: 7th
Percentage: 80.38%
This year:
W: 4 L: 4
Ladder Position: 4th
Percentage: 87.83%
Coach’s comment:
“Last year we finished with three wins for the season,” coach Brett Kennerly said.
“There would be plenty of people around the club who would see the four wins as a bonus this year, but it isn’t good enough for me.
“We are taking it one game at a time. Hopefully we win enough games to qualify for finals and then ultimately have good numbers around the group to ensure we have a good basis for next year.”
Last year:
W: 7 L: 2
Ladder Position: 3rd
Percentage: 175.48%
This year:
W: 6 L: 3
Ladder Position: 3rd
Percentage: 179.25%
Coach’s comment:
“We are probably progressing similar to where we were at last year, with a lot more improvement to come,” Footy Manager Adam Taylor said.
“We have used 41 players in our seniors, that has been due to availability issues and injuries which all teams go through.
“As a club we have expanded to five junior sides, an Under-15 girls team and a Senior Women’s team. We have gone from 150 players to over 220 this year, so to increase our membership this year is a positive one, especially we are only in our fourth year.
“In the second half of the season we want to gain more consistency and really challenge the sides above us.
“We want to be in a strong position so we are able to gain some success, whether that be for the seniors or the reserves who are also in a good position.”
