ROUND 2 and 3 of the 2017 AFL Victoria Junior Metro Championships will be played over the Queen’s Birthday long weekend.
The WRFL's Under-14 and Under-15 boys and Under-15 girls teams will all be in action over the weekend.
The WRFL also has two Under-13 teams, both of which will go head-to-head with the Essendon District Football League and the Riddle District Football League on Sunday as part of the annual Junior Carnival.
As well as some of the WRFL’s rising stars showing off their talent, a group of WRFL Umpires will also get the chance to officiate the championships.
Below is a list of all the umpires who will be involved:
Field: Oliver Hunter-Stapleton, Brayden Svilar, Jacob Spinks, Shannon Van Boven, Noah Piggott, Murray Osborne, Conor Ryan, Kyle Machado, Flynn Dalton and Justin Moloney.
Boundary: Caitlin Kelly, Reggee Auld, Marcus Rubeli, Matthew Spinks, Matthew Hohmann, Miller Slingsby, Liam Foley, Cooper Billman, Brendan Williams and Lachlan Mathey.
Goal: Brian Green, Jorja Auld, Paul Battaglia, Bradley Heffernan, Tim Moloney, John Prentice, Brodie Cameron-Smith, Violet Cummimng-Gray, Alex Bovis and Tim Bertino.
Andrew Van Keulen, Jake Bokhove, Bailey Camillo, Navdeep Singh, Con Grouios, Daniel Higgins, Lachlan Main, Lynden and Jeannie Kane all umpired in Round 1 of the Championships.
