The Storm led at every change, but held on from a fast finishing power to win by 13-points.
James Farrugia was best on ground with three crucial goals for the storm, and was simply unstoppable on the day.
Jackson Redfern also contributed with two goals for Manor Lakes, while Cameron D’Altera kicked three for Newport.
D’Altera was assisted up forward by Mustafa Mesto, Mahmoud Saaoud and Adam Kaddour, who each kicked two goals. Belal Mesto continued has strong form this season.
A tight first quarter saw the Storm lead by eight points at the first break, before the Storm kicked three goals to one in the second quarter to establish a buffer of 19-points
Another strong term from the Storm could have sealed the contest for Manor Lakes, however inaccurate goal kicking kept the Power in the contest at three quarter time.
A slower final term saw Manor Lakes hold on for a tight win, however it was Newport who was wasteful in the last quarter.
With seven scoring shots to two for the quarter, more accurate kicking could have produced a vastly different result.

Samuel Kater (five goals) and Brad Mcnicol (four-goals) proved a headache up forward.
Finally, Yarraville-Seddon took care of last-place West Footscray, with a convincing 85-point win.
Macauley Goring was one of the most influential players on the ground, with four majors setting up the win.
