Spotswood were at their dominant best against Albanvale thumping them to the tune of 241 points, to get their season underway.
In the first half they were simply clinical. They moved the ball at brisk pace, constantly got teammates involved in the action and kept switching the play via high calibre foot skills.

For Spotswood, Alex Kenyi and Thomas Barnes had productive games with each booting seven and eight goals respectively, whilst Zak Bussitul and Elliot Rosado were impressive throughout the four quarters.
There were not many winners despite their efforts, but Cobras duo Marol Kuany and Yual Maciek kept taking the game on and were the best for Albanvale, on what was a a very tough day.
The other results from the round saw Altona recording a 49-point win over Hoppers Crossing and Caroline Springs defeated Wyndhamvale by 127-points.
