VU Whitten Oval will play host to the 2016 AFL Women’s All-Stars Match next Saturday night.
The Western Bulldogs will take on the Melbourne Football Club, with the teams playing for the Hampson-Hardeman Cup.
The Cup honours female football pioneers Barb Hampson and Lisa Hardeman, who set-up the first women’s national championships back in 1998.
The match will feature some of the best women’s players from across the country.
The game kicks off at 7.10pm. Entry is free.
If you get to the ground early you will also get to see the NAB Youth Girls All-Stars in action, with the McDonald’s AFL 9s celebrity match to be played at half-time.
