THIS weekend will be a big one for the West Footscray Football Club.
The senior and reserves side will take on Division 2 premiership hopefuls and long-time WRFL rivals North Footscray at Shorten Reserve on Saturday.
The Round 11 clash will also mark the 100th time the two clubs have played against one another.
The two clubs first met in 1935 at Hansen Reserve. North Footscray won that match by 96-points.
However, overall West Footscray has won more matches against the Devils. They lead 64-35.

Sunday will also be a big day for the Roosters, with the club set to play Braybrook in the inaugural Legend’s Match also at Shorten Reserve at 1pm.
Legends from both WRFL clubs are set to play in the match, with the game open to all past players.
The game will kick-off at 1pm with teams playing four 15 minute quarters.
There will be an after match function and entertainment.
