DEER Park is aiming for a record fourth straight Division 1 premiership this year.
The WRFL powerhouse has claimed the past three flags and will look to add the 2016 cup to their growing list of accolades.
The club has lost leading goal kicker James Wong and Barry Priest medallist Shannon Broadbent, but have added some talented and experienced players to its list.
Headed up by, I’m A Celebrity champion Brendan Fevola, Deer Park has also signed big names Shannon Broadbent and Jase Perkins.

Captain: Seniors – Chris Stewart, Reserves – Lance Grogan.
Last season: Division 1 Seniors – Premiers. Division 1 Reserves – 6th.
Leading goal-kicker: Seniors - James Wong – 53 goals. Reserves – Graeme Catterall – 12 goals.

Key Ins: Brendan Fevola, Shannon Byrnes, Jason Kennedy, Adam Elhouli, Tim O’Sullivan, Rhett King (returning from injury) and Jase Perkins.

Players to watch: “There is not a bigger name in suburban football than Brendan Fevola,” senior playing coach Marc Bullen said.
“We are excited by what he will bring to the club and competition.
“Shannon Byrnes is a two-time AFL premiership player who we expect to dominate the competition.
“Adam Elhouli and Jason Kennedy are both outstanding suburban footballers and should be refreshed and eager to dominate playing in a new environment and completion.
“Jayke Ewer is another, he made the WRFL team of the year in 2015, we expect Jayke to take the next step in 2016.”
How has the pre-season been: “Very good, we have had consistent training numbers since our January return,” Bullen said.
“We have two quality practice games lined up against Doutta Stars and Montmorency, which we are looking forward too.”
Expectations this season: “Making finals first and foremost,” Bullen said.
“Then trying to create history by achieving another premiership.”
