CAROLINE Springs has arguably had the biggest pre-season signing to date with three-time Hawthorn premiership player Brian Lake signing on for the 2016 season.
Lake has had a decorated football career during his time in the AFL and looks certain to make a big impact on the Division 2 competition this year.
Can he help the Lakers to their first senior WRFL premiership? We will have to wait and see.

How has the pre-season been: “Pre-season has been really solid, we have averaged 35 to 40 players every night on the track,” coach Scott Korczynski said.
“We been working on our skills, decision making and fitness right from night one and leading into Round 1.
“Everything we have been doing has been linked into developing a new game for 2016.”
Expectations this season: “We would be looking to make our debut finals series in 2016,” Korcyznski said.
“Then see how deep we can go into the finals series.”
