WEST Footscray have named a new senior coach on, after Nick Diker resigned from the club last week.
The Roosters have appointed playing coach Scott Lobb as its coach for 2016.
He ran his first pre-season training session with the senior list on Monday.
Lobb was a part of West Footscray’s Western Region Football League Division 2 grand final team.
He is set to bring a wealth of knowledge to the team after stints in both the Ballarat and Bellarine Football Netball Leagues.
In a statement on the club’s Facebook page, Lobb says he is excited to take the reins at Shorten Reserve.
Lobb’s assistants for next season will be announced in coming weeks as well several of the Roosters' new recruits.
