WYNDHAMVALE has stepped up its recruiting, announcing three time North Gippsland Football League best and fairest winner Brian Graham has joined the club.
Brian, the brother of Chris, has decided to take up the challenge of playing in Division One in the Western Region Football League, after the Falcons won the Division Two premiership and were promoted to the top tier competition.
Brian and Chris are also the brothers of current Carlton footballer Nick Graham.
At just 23 years of age, Brian has had a decorated football career, winning a record three best and fairest awards in the North Gippsland FL.
Brian has now surpassed his father, Brian Graham Senior, who won the award twice.
The Traralgon Tyers United midfielder polled 34 votes this season to claim the best and fairest medal, finishing six clear of his nearest rival.
The talented player also likes to spend time in the forward line, booting 48 goals in 2015.
During his time in the North Gippsland league, he was also named in the team of the year on multiple occasions, a three time club best and fairest winner, twice leading goal kicker and club captain.
"I'm super excited about signing on with the Falcons," Brian said.
"I was down to watch a few games this year including the grand final and just really loved the culture around the club, on and off the field.
"Obviously division one is a big step up but I'm really excited for the challenge."
Tyler Tessari, Chris Jones, Alex Hamilton, Kieran Morrison, James Damjanovski, Noa Founa, Chris Benson, Nathan Reschke and Devan Ellis are also among some key signings for the Falcons.
