A HOST of Wyndhamvale premiership players have committed to the club for the 2016 season.
On the back of first senior flag, the Falcons have announced a number of it's key players have signed on to play with the club next season.
Tyler Tessari, Chris Jones, Alex Hamilton, Kieran Morrison, James Damjanovski and Noa Fonua, who was named best on ground in their premiership win, are all staying at the nest next year.
“I’ve been at the club a long time now and couldn’t think of playing anywhere else,” Damjanovski said.
“I’m looking forward to 2016.”
Morrison said he was looking forward to the challenges that lay ahead now that the club has been promoted to the Division 1 competition after they defeated West Footscray in the Division 2 senior grand final last month.
“I am looking forward to the challenge of playing division one footy with a great bunch of blokes and to be a part of the building of this club into something great," he said.
Aidan Boland will also be donning the green and gold again, making the decision to pull on the boots again after a year of being the club’s senior runner.
Centre half forward Chris Benson, ruckman Nathan Reschke and onballer Devan Ellis, who won the division two league best and fairest award this season, are also playing on next season.
Troy Beamond will remain as head coach as well as his three assistants Chris Graham, Paul O’Shea and Daniel Bunworth.
In other club news, the club appointed Jamie Cowlishaw and Craig Prior as co-coaches for their Division 1 reserves team for 2016.
Prior coached the Falcons’ under-18 team for the past six seasons and Cowlishaw won the club’s reserves best and fairest award this season say they are excited to take on this new challenge.
Andrew Spinks has also been appointed as Wyndhamvale’s under-19 coach for 2016.
Spinks comes to the club after recently being a part of the coaching panel at the Manor Lakes Football Club.
