Basketball Federation of PNG Announces New Executive Officer
The Basketball Federation of PNG is pleased to announce the appointment of Christopher Topa as the new Executive Officer. The recruitment of Mr. Topa has been formally approved by the PNGBF Executive Committee, marking an exciting new chapter for basketball in Papua New Guinea.
On his appointment, Mr. Topa stated, "I am honored to take on the role of Executive Officer for the Basketball Federation of PNG. I am committed to working with our stakeholders to enhance and grow the game of basketball at all levels throughout PNG."
BFPNG President Emma Waiwai expressed her confidence in the new appointment, saying, "We are thrilled to welcome Christopher Topa as our new Executive Officer. Mr. Topa brings a wealth of experience and a passionate commitment to the development of basketball in our nation. His vision and leadership will be invaluable as we strive to elevate basketball in Papua New Guinea. I have full confidence in Chris's ability to drive the growth of basketball in PNG
The BFPNG would also like to acknowledge the hard work and dedication of the outgoing Executive Officer, Miskus Lapan. Mr. Lapan's contributions have been instrumental in laying the foundation for the growth of basketball in the country. We extend our heartfelt thanks to Miskus for his commitment and service.
