PORT MORESBY (Papua New Guinea) – The Basketball Federation of Papua New Guinea are preparing to host two high profile Australian coaches for national training camps thanks to PacificAus Sports.

Marcus Cusinato and former Australian Opal Coach, Carrie Graf will be present for the national training camp this weekend to further support and facilitate the BFPNG High Performance Program.  This program will directly address FIBA’s Strategic Priority of Empowering National Federations by professionalising national team structures.

The national training camp will be at the Taurama Aquatic Indoor Centre from August 26 to 28 with BFPNG Men's Coaching legend, Moi Muri looking forward to the additional support throughout the duration of the camp.

“I am grateful that we have very experienced coaches coming to support our national teams, this will provide a specialised platform to refine their skills, learn new strategy and at the same time confront the team to work hard with compassion as a team and as an individual," Coach Muri said.

“These camps give players physical toughness and strength and players attain new abilities and sportsmanship.”
