Rudimch league to tip off on August 17
The lists of participating teams have been announced by organizers for the much awaited 2009 Rudimch Government/Business basketball league which is set to tip off on August 17 at the Palau National gym.
Defending champion Palau Pacific Resort (PPR) Shark Attack will lead the participating teams in the Business division together with sister team PPR Stingrays, Sam’s Tour, Kabong, Palasia, Fuji/WCTC, Fish ‘N Fins, Galaxy Builders, Cliffside Hotel, Palau Royal Resort (PRR) Royals and Surangel and Sons.
On the other hand, teams that have already confirmed their participation in the Government division are Koror State Government (KSG), Cops, Ministry of Education (MOE) I Spiders, Ministry of Finance (MOF) Omsangel, PNOC/PBRA and PNCC.
Teams are allowed to have 15 players only in their roster. The league will formally open on August 17, 5:30 p.m. Games will be played from Monday to Saturday with the first game set at 6 p.m. For more information call Topps Sungino at 488 4491.
The league, which is sponsored by Rudimch Enterprises, is a tobacco, alcohol and drug free program and all violators will be banned from participating.
