The PHS Lady Spiders went unbeaten through out the competition and won the finals championship game by  12 points over Midzenty high school Team A Lady Cardinals. PHS had the an advantage as most of their players attended the 19U Oceania Youth tournament in Guam recently. They were more mature and more relaxed as they had more experience playing with the best in the Oceania region. Midzenty Hish school had only 1 player from the trip and she was overwhelmed with the responsibility of trying to lead her team to win the game. Sweety Kalbesang was the MVP as she lead here team in points and steals.In the Boys division. For the 1st time in 10 years Team Emmaus High School won the coveted Championship trophy when they beat the much favored Palau High School Green Machine. PHS were unbeaten in the regular season and playoffs, but lost the most important one in the finals. EHS did their homework and executed a tough pressured defense that gave them the opportunity to create more fast break points and offensive opportunities. PHS trailed throughout the game, but came back from behind in the 4th quarter to cut the lead to 4 points and that was the closest they got. Wade of team Emmaus was the MVP as he lead his team with points and rebounds. Everyone enjoyed the competition including the fans that came out to support their teams.
