Peched, Ngermid scores win in KSG bball league
Teams Peched and Ngermid showed might as they top respective opponents in the 19 and Under division of the ongoing 2014 Koror State Basketball League played at the Palau National gym.
Peched dig deep to their bench as they managed to beat team Meyuns, 67-49. Mederemel Yaoch topscored for Peched with 23 points while Kerai led Meyuns with 15 on the losing end.
On the other hand, team Ngermid managed to hold their ground as they beat the Ididers, 62-58 with Marvic Ngchar leading the way with 22 while Elu chipped in 18.
In other games, Meda Boyz beat Dngerpnger, 58-58; and Ngerchemai won over Peched in the 17 and Under division via 64-57.
Games today will feature the 19 and Under category with Ngerchemai versus Meyuns at 1:30 p.m. while Peched will face Dngeronger at 2:30 p.m.
Games tomorrow will have the 15 and Under showcasing Ngerchemai taking on Peched at 8:30 a.m. while the 17 and Under will have Ngerchemai against Peched at 9:30 a.m. and the main game will feature the 19 and Under teams from Ngerchemai battling Ngermid at 10:30 a.m.
The Koror State Basketball League is a tobacco, alcohol and drug free program and violators will be banned from participating. The league is under the supervision of the Palau Basketball Federation (PBF).
