Teams from Ngerchemai wrecks havoc in KSG bball league

Teams from Ngerchemai showed they are teams to watch as they scored separate victories that signaled the start of the 2014 Koror State Basketball League played at the Palau National gym.

Ngerchemai first beat Peched, 53-27 in the 17 and under division with Wallace leading the way with 15 points and they end the day as Ngerchemai drubbed Peched in the 15 and under category via 54-19 with MJ topscoring with 22 baskets.

The league will have three divisions namely the 19 and Under, 17 and Under and 15 and Under (co-ed) categories.

Games will resume today with the 19 and under division featuring Meda versus Idid at 1:30 p.m. while Meyuns will face Ngermid at 2:30 p.m.

Saturday games will have four staring with the 17 and under division featuring Peched against Ngerchemai at 8:30 a.m. followed by the 15 and under category that will have Peched taking on Ngerchemai at 9:30 p.m.

In the 19 and under division, it will have Meda taking on Ngerchemai at 10:30 p.m. while Idid will face Dngeronger at 11:30 a.m.

July 7 matches will feature the 19 and under with Ngermid facing Dngeronger at 1:30 p.m. while Meyuns will play Meda in the main game at 2:30 p.m.

The Koror State Basketball League is a tobacco, alcohol and drug free program and violators will be banned from participating. The league is under the supervision of the Palau Basketball Federation (PBF).
