MOJ Lawmen subdues Island Rhythm in Rudimch GBL

A late rally gave the Ministry of Justice (MOJ) Lawmen the needed push as they were able to beat team Island Rhythm, 86-74 Wednesday night in the ongoing 2013 season of the Rudimch Enterprise Government/Business League at the Palau National gym.

Trailing most of the game and falling behind via 56-52 going into the last canto, MOJ Lawmen pulled their acts together as they attacked the basket with a 34-18 run to sail all the way for the win.

Bisa Demei led the scoring chores for MOJ Lawmen with 23 as Jason Brell added 19 while Anthony Rudimch carried the load for Island Rhythm with 24 on the losing end.

On the other hand, Palau Royal Resort (PRR) Dragons showed might as they won over RTRMI Crushers, 113-94. Bigman Raul Osias topscored for the Dragons with 23 points as teammates Roger Santos and Gener Aguinaldo chipped in identical 20 baskets, respectively while Anthony Ngiraikelau and Jay-Jay Nuqui rallied for the Crushers with 33 and 26 on the losing cause in that order.

In other games, KSG Royals defeated Hanpa Cardinals, 85-72; Sam’s Sharks beat Fish N’ Fins, 90-82; MOH Band Aid outscored PNCC Molekoi, 68-66; Galaxy Builders won over PRR Stingrays, 78-76; Surangel Kings downed Neco, 91-90; team ABC drubbed MOF Omsangel, 90-81; and Galaxy Builders beat Mason’s Hardware, 81-74.

Games will resume tonight with MOF Omsangel versus PNCC Molekoi at 6 p.m. followed by the Galaxy Builders-WCTC tussle at 7:30 p.m. while Neco will meet Sam’s Sharks at 9 p.m.

Monday night games will have MOJ Lawmen against team ABC at 6 p.m. as MOE Spiders will face MOH Band Aid at 7:30 p.m. as PRR Dragons will test PPR Stingrays at 9 p.m.
