President’s Men gets 2nd win in Rudimch GBL

Government Division darkhorse team President’s X-Men scored their second straight victory at the expense of PNCC Molekoi, 88-74 Wednesday night in the ongoing 2013 season of the Rudimch Enterprise Government/Business League at the Palau National gym.

Down by a thread, 36-35 at the end of the first half, the President’s X-Men then rallied in the third canto as they unleashed a 31-14 output to claim the lead at 66-48. From there, the President’s X-Men sailed smoothly for the win.

Vann Isaac led the President’s X-Men with 19 points while Edmond Barayuga topscored for PNCC Molekoi with 24 as they suffered their first lost for a 1-1 tally in the team standings.

In other games, Fish n’ Fins won over Mason’s Hardware, 92-75; Surangel Kings beat WCTC, 94-75; Team ABC defeated PPUC Electric Eel, 94-77; RTRMI Crushers outscored Sam’s Sharks, 91-82; and Hanpa Cardinals won over MOH BandAid, 20-0.

Games will resume tonight with MOE Spiders versus MOF Omsangel at 6 p.m. as Island Rhythm will face President’s X-Men at 7:30 p.m. while Neco takes on PPR Shark Attack in the main game at 9 p.m.

No games will be played on September 2 as Palau celebrates Labor Day. Games will resume on Tuesday night with MOH BandAid taking on KSG Royals at 7:30 p.m. while PPR Stingray will meet Mason’s Hardware at 9 p.m.
