Peched Raw beat Stingers in IP&E NBL 2013

Team Peched Raw continues it winning run, this time beating the Medalaii Stingers, 106-68 Friday night in the ongoing 2013 season of the Shell IP&E National Basketball League (NBL) played at the Palau National gym.

Peched Raw showed its offensive skills after taking a 36-12 lead in the opening tip off and then followed it up with a 25-15 run in the second to close the first half with a 61-27 advantage.

From there, Peched Raw cruise the weather with clear skies as they scored the win with Sunshine Soalablai and King Ngiraboi leading the way with identical 21 markers as Dennis Castro chipped in 20.

On the other hand, Cosby Kelmal topscored for the Stingers with 20 baskets on the losing end.

In other games, Breakers won over WCC Hammers, 64-63; and Ksau Imaging Solutions bested Ngermid Rivals, 76-69.

Games resume tonight with FR Spoilers versus Idid Airwaves at 7:30 p.m. while Peched Raw will meet the Breakers in the main game at 9 p.m. Wednesday night games will have Ngermid Rivals taking on 4x4 Wheelers at 6 p.m. as Idid Airwaves will face Ksau Imaging Solutions at 9 p.m.

Thursday night match ups will feature Nationals 19 Under against Medalaii Stingers at 7:30 p.m. while WCC Hammers will meet FR Spoilers at 9 p.m.
