PRR Dragons, KSG Royals score win in GBL Season Finals
Team Palau Royal Resort (PRR) Dragons and Koror State Government (KSG) Royals advance into the next round as they bested separate foes, Wednesday night at the start of the Season Finals of the 2012 season of the Rudimch Enterprise Government/Business League played at the Palau National gym.
PRR Dragons managed to escape with an 80-77 victory over Ministry of Education (MOE) Spiders. Sniper Gener Aguinaldo sizzled for 23 points while teammate Robinson Richard added 22 for the Dragons as Yutaka Gibbons Jr finished with 28 for MOE Spiders on the losing end.
On the other hand, KSG Royals moves on to the next round as they beat Neco, 71-66. The Royals started hot as they established a 21-12 lead and then closed the first half with a 37-33 advantage.
From there, the Royals went all the way to score the win behind the 20 point performance of Tats while Nico Hinoza paced Neco with 28 baskets on the losing end.
In other games, Fish and Fins Hunters won over PNCC Molekoi, 20-0.
