Rudimch Enterprise GBL: PNCC beats team ABC, 100-99 in OT

Team Palau National Communications Corporation (PNCC) managed to squeeze out of trouble to beat team ABC, 100-99 in overtime, Wednesday night in the ongoing 2012 season of the Rudimch Enterprise Government/Business League at the Palau National gym.

Leading 57-50 going into the final quarter, team PNCC Molekoi watch as their lead vanished as team ABC managed to tie the game at 82-all and send the match into overtime.

In the extra period, team PNCC Molekoi made their move as they avoided another pressure pack game and outscored team ABC by a point with a 16-15 output to score the win with Asailee Yamada leading the scoring chores with 31 points while John Stills paced team ABC with 25 markers on the losing end.

In other games, MOE I Spiders won over MOE II, 75-45; Surangel and Sons down Mason’s Hardware, 78-73; Neco bested PRR Dragons, 54-41; Mason’s Hardware defeated Sam’s Sharks, 101-94; Fish and Fins Hunters outpaced Surangel and Sons, 81-62; PPR Shark Attack drowned WCTC, 86-57; KSG Royals routed PPUC Kamik, 77-66; and MOF Omsangel escaped with an 86-85 win against PNCC Molekoi.

Games resume tonight with MPIIC versus MOE II at 6 p.m. followed by the Palasia Hotel-MOJ Cops tussle at 7:30 p.m. as Sam’s Shark will meet PPR Shark Attack at 9 p.m.

Monday night games will have KSG Royals against Palasia Hotel at 6 p.m. as MOE I Spiders will test the MOJ Cops at 7:30 p.m. while Mason’s Hardware will battle Galaxy Builders in the night cap at 9 p.m.
