Rangers meet Surangel and Sons while Bulls take on WU in FBL Sunday

After founding their rhythm, MJ Rangers will try to continue their winning run this time they will have to face a tough adversary as they take on Surangel and Sons on Sunday in the 2012 season of the Filipino Basketball League at the Palau National gym.

The Rangers (6-5) will try to settle an unfinished business as they tangle at 2 p.m. They will be led by brothers Jay and Joemar Naguit, Mike Guevarra, Nico Hinoza, Rogelio Fernandez and Rodel Ramos with veteran skipper Jimmy Domingo calling the shots from the bench.

On the other hand, Surangel and Sons (8-4) aims to solidify its spot in the team standings as they will again rely on the team of Arnold Udencimo, Bong Gayongorza, Gener Aguinaldo, Norvert Nova, Sib Reyes and playing coach Eric Manio.

Meanwhile, the Ilocandia Bulls is set to take on Western Union in the main game at 3:30 p.m. The Bulls (8-4) will be led by Raul Osias, Joeger Supnet, Jayson Tabuyo, Ryan Cacho and Jun Villena while Western Union (9-3) hopes to bounce back from a loss last weekend as they will again rely on its line up composed of Dennis Castro, Emerson Patenia, Erwin Senadre, Bong Alambra and Medel Cuyugan.

In other games, team Choppers will face the Hanpa Cardinals in the curtain raiser at 11 a.m. as the D’Originals take on 9-Balls Friendsters in Game One of their best of three championship series at 12:30 p.m.  By Peter Erick L. Magbanua (Island Times News)
