East All Stars bested their Western counterparts, 85-64

The East All Stars scored their second win at the expense of their Western counterparts, 85-64, Friday night in the ongoing 2012 IP&E NBL Super League at the Palau National gym.

The East All Stars found their rhythm in the fourth quarter as they outscored the West All Stars with a 20-13 output to put the game away and sport themselves with a 2-0 win-loss tally in the team standings.

Reid Una Rikrik led the scoring chores for the East All Stars with 18 while teammates Perry Oiterong and Douglas Schmidt finished with identical 16 markers, in that order. Mike Williams, on the other hand, topscored for the West All Stars with 20 as they now are 1-1.

In other games, FR Spoilers drubbed the Nationals 17 and under team, 109-75.

Games will resume Wednesday night with East All Stars taking on FR Spoilers at 6 p.m. while the West All Stars will meet the Nationals 17 and under squad in the main game at 7:30 p.m.
