Team Palau set for MYBT 17 and Under
Team Palau is all set for the upcoming men’s and women’s 17 and Under Western Division of the Micronesia Youth Basketball Tournament which will be held in CNMI from May 21 to 26.
According to PBF vice president and National Basketball Development Officer Kazuki “Topps” Sungino, they will only be sending the men’s team which will be coached by Ziske Asanuma with Jose Meltel as assistant coach.
The team will be composed of RB Dorado, Marvic Ngchar, Ray Rdialul, Luke Wilter, Cullen Carlson, Shonty Ubedei, Medermel Yaoch, O’brein Ngemaes, Edward Baysa, Tavon Borja, Cody Rorer and Keene Isao.
The team is set to leave on May 19 in time for the technical meeting and a day of practice before the start of the competition. Aside from Palau, also seeing action are teams from Guam and host CNMI. By Peter Erick L. Magbanua (Island Times News)
