Ngebard wins Girl’s 17 and under title
Team Ngebard stole the limelight as they won the championship crown, Friday night in the 2012 Girl’s 17 and under basketball league at the Palau National gym.
Sarabeth Ksano took over the scoring chores for Ngebard as she finished the game with 11 points giving Ngebard the title. Diliaur Kumaichi topscored for Diluches with 12 baskets as they settled for runner-up honors.
Diluches earned their way into the finals after beating Dims, 32-29 while Ngebard took the final spot with their 42-32 victory over Ongos.
In the consolation game, Ongos defeated Dims, 43-38.
