SDA Kings win EACS Boy’s league

As expected, the Seventh Day Adventist (SDA) Kings displayed their might as they defeated Koror Elementary School (KES) team A, 79-40 to win the EACS Central Schools Boy’s basketball league played at the Palau National gym.

The Kings seemed offline in the first canto as they trailed KES team A 11-12 and they responded in the second quarter as they rallied with a 19-13 output to secure a 30-25 lead at the end of the first half.

The Kings continued their domination as they limited KES team A to eight points in the third quarter of play to post their biggest lead at 53-33. From there, the Kings went all the way to win the game and take home the crown.

Carson Sumor and Cody Rorer led the Kings with identical 20 points, respectively while Kib Gabriel led KES team A with 12 as they settled for runners up.

Winners received their specially crafted trophies during the awards ceremony immediately after the championship game. The league is under the supervision of the Palau Basketball Federation (PBF).  By Peter Erick L. Magbanua (Island Times News)
