MSS takes third place honors in EACS Boy’s league

Despite missing the spot in the championship game, Maris Stella School (MSS) settled for third place honors after besting Koror Elementary School team B, 55-16 Wednesday afternoon in the EACS Central Schools Boy’s basketball league played at the Palau National gym.

MSS secured the lead at the end of the first half with a 13-10 lead and from there they never looked back to take the game with Tabesul Panuelo leading the scoring chores with 12 points while teammate Alex Rudimch 10 added. Santini Masaichi, on the other hand, topscored for KES B with 5 as they closed their stint finishing fourth.

Meanwhile, contender Seventh Day Adventist (SDA) Kings is still playing against KES A for the championship as of this writing.

SDA Kings entered the finals after whipping KES B, 77-23 while KES A took the finals seat with their 49-26 victory over MSS.
