Ocean View/PCGM, PPR All Stud moves to Final Four in Master’s bball

Contender Ocean View/PCGM and Palau Pacific Resort (PPR) All Stud earns a ticket to the Final Four after besting separate rivals, Sunday in the knockout game of the Master’s Basketball League at the Palau High School gym.

Jojo Arevalo powered Ocean View/PCGM past WCTC Power Ball, 105-67. Arevalo drilled 25 points enough to fuel his team to the next round while John Pastrana tallied 20 markers for WCTC Power Ball on the losing end.

On the other hand, PPR All Stud took the other semis ticket as they beat Panahon Ko I2, 74-49 with Rolly Jardenaso finishing with 21 points while Fernan de Guzman tallied 12 baskets on the losing side.

In the other game, Jive Restaurant showed might as they also move on to the next round after besting ECC Eagles, 70-66. Bhoey Gopez led the scoring chores with 32 points while Noel Caparaz led ECC Eagles with 30 markers.

Games will resume on November 20 with Ocean View/PCGM versus PPR All Stud at 12:30 p.m. while the Originals will meet Jive Restaurant in the main game at 2:30 p.m.

Winners of the game will advance to the finals while the losers will battle for third place honors.
