Defending champion team Originals took over the top spot in the team standings after repulsing Ocean View/PCGM, 80-76 Sunday in the Master’s Basketball League at the Palau High School gym.

Veteran skipper and MVP candidate Jimmy Domingo orchestrated the scoring chores for the Originals with 32 points as they finished the elimination round with an 11-1 win-loss record while Jojo Arevalo topscored for Ocean View/PCGM with 25 as they slipped to second place in the team standings with a 10-2 card.

In other games, PPR All Stud won over Jive Restaurant by default while Panahon Ko I2 bested ECC Eagles, 80-76.

Games will resume on November 13 with Ocean View/PCGM versus WCTC Power Ball at 12 noon while PPR All Stud will face Panahon Ko I2 at 1:45 p.m. as ECC Eagles will meet Jive Restaurant in the main game at 3:15 p.m.
