Mason’s Hardware scores 2nd win in Rudimch Government/Business League

Mason’s Hardware nailed their second win at the expense of PPR Shark Attack, 92-82 in the ongoing 2011 season of the Rudimch Enterprise Government/Business League at the Palau National gym.

Trailing 55-61 going into the final quarter, Mason’s Hardware went to the duo of Reid Una Rikrik and Masao Umedib as they anchored a 36-23 run to take the lead and eventually winning the game.

Rikrik tallied 31 points while Umedib had 19 as they start the league with a 2-0 count. Dennis Castro paced PPR Shark Attack with 16 baskets as they are 1-1 in the team standings.

In other games, SDA Crusaders won over Dollar 99, 69-41; Spoilers drubbed PRR Dragons, 108-70; and PPUC Kamik defeated MPIIC, 71-70.

Games will resume tonight with SDA Crusaders versus PRR Dragons at 6 p.m. followed by the Dollar 99-F and F Hunters match at 7:30 p.m. while Spoilers will face Palasia Hotel in the main game at 9 p.m. Games tomorrow will have MOE II taking on PNOC/PBRA Mercury Optimax at 6 p.m. as MOE I Spiders will meet MPIIC at 7:30 p.m. as MOF Omsangel will test KSG at 9 p.m.

September 15 matches will feature Sam’s Shark versus Mason’s Hardware at 6 p.m. followed by theSpoilers-PPR Shark Attack game at 7:30 p.m. while Neco will meet Dollar 99 at 9 p.m.
