KSHL - WALLACE SCORES BIG FOR NGERCHEMAI

The KSHL 12 Years and Under league continues to showcase junior basketball talent as players get the opportunity to do their thing on the court.

Wallace Worswick is a tall 11 year old boy with good athletic ability and already basic offensive skills.  His extra height was used to good advantage on the court as he out-rebounded and scored against his opposition.  He was well assisted on the scoresheet by Olikong Tellames and J-ven Skilang with 6 points each.

For the much smaller Meda Kids the main scorers were Eluut Isaac with 10 points and Garnett Sungino with 8.

In the South Coast and Meyuns clash it was Meyuns that had the early lead but South Coast had a big second and third quarter to be able to hold on for the win.  For South Coast Elton Sapemang scored 12 and Peace Sumor had 10.  The major scorers for Meyuns were Troy Iyar with 14 Cherry Steven with 6.

The 12 Years League continues to provide many playersfor Basketball Palau's National Identification System and the opportunity to be selected into the National Squad Program later this year is an incentive for all players and coaches.
