KSHL 12 YEARS AND UNDER LEAGUE READY TO START
The opening cermony for the league will happen on Monday 18th at the National Gym when additional players will be formed into further hamlet teams. All players must register before playing and must pay a league fee of $2.
The league commences on Wednesday 20th April and will be played at the National Gym and selected hamlet courts after school with all games commencing at 3.30pm.
The rounds will finish during the first week of the summer school holidays and following the league four All Star Teams will be selected to play in the Super League for 12 and Under. From the Super League players will be selected to attend the National Junior Development Camp in June.
The league has been postponed for several weeks due to personnel being off island and the interest as to when we would start has been tremendous with contact from both players and parents alike.
If the earlier 14 Years and Under League is anything to go by then by June we should have many more future stars on the horizon.
The league is conducted by the Koror State Youth Division under supervision by the Palau Basketball Federation and is a tobacco, alcohol and drug free program. All violators will be banned from participating.
