GIRLS ELEMENTARY SCHOOL LEAGUE COMMENCES
At the opening ceremony yesterday NBDO, Topps Sungino, spoke to the players and coaches of the value that sport plays in the development of our youth and how achievement in sport and school are similar. He also told the players that during the league players will be identified for possible selection into the 2011 National 15 Years Women’s Squad.
SDA Queens have been preparing well and but will be sorely tested when they face Meyuns Lady Dolphins today. The Meyuns team will face off against G B Harris Smuuch on Friday in a repeat of last years final.
Next Monday the Smuuch and Queens will meet, while on Tuesday it will be Meyuns up against KES (Koror Elementary School). The SDA Queens take on KES on Wednesday and then on Thursday it will be semi final day.
