WEBSITE A BIG HIT
The various Micronesian basketball countries followed their teams progress through our website with what we think is the biggest single month of visitors for our website. OVER 30,000 hits!
Visitors were able to follow the stories each day or check on their teams progress through the results and statistics section. Using the FIBA Organizer software we were able to upload results each day and except for some hiccups at the end of the tournament when it came to finals time, it all worked fairly smoothly.
One disapointment was the failure to be able to post all the photos from the tournament, but we are hoping that this can be rectified and you will be able to follow the story of the basketball tournament in pictures.
While we may be behind Fiji in our monthly visitations, our coverage of the Micronesian Games helped us to jump ahead in hits for the year.
