In addition to presenting their monthly report the Head Coaches, George Domingo (Women) and Johnny Kintaro (Men), offered suggestions on areas that require some attention, such as the delay by those squad members who have failed to accept their selection in the squads. 

The Head Coaches and their assistants (Logan Ngiriou and Happy Fritz – Women and Burton Wong – Men) also completed evaluations on every player during the past month.  These player evaluations will occur monthly and be used in the objective evaluations of players as the program continues.  This month players were evaluated on 5 areas – attendance, attitude, work rate, listening and attention and self discipline.  In future months the players will also be evaluated on skills, teamwork and leadership and game knowledge. 

All coaches were enthusiastic about the direction of the program and were in favour that we are going in the right direction to improve the standard of players in our National Squads.
