Dear Softball Macarthur Members, Families and Friends,
When we sign up our children or as an adult to play a sport for some of us that is all that it entails. For some however they take on further roles that deepen their involvement in the sport. Some take on roles at Club, then Macarthur, then State and then National and International level. Our sport does not exist without this participation or volunteer base.
Macarthur (we) operates as we do, not to win awards, but to try and provide opportunities for everyone to participate in the sport we are passionate about. In winning this award we were judged and compared to all other affiliates in NSW against a set of 18 criteria. It was also the very positive comments from other associations that were great to hear.

As President, it was with great pride I was able to accept this award on your behalf. I wish to thank you for your part in making this happen. Please continue to enjoy our sport and to ‘do your bit’ for the sport so that we continue to make Macarthur a great place to play.
